Suites del Mundo in Alhaurín el Grande

Alhaurín el Grande is a town in Andalusia at about 30 minutes drive from the airport, between Marbella and Malaga. The town sits at the foot of the north face of the Sierra de Mijas and overlooks the spectacular Guadalhorce valley.


Alhaurín el Grande has about 23,000 inhabitants and has managed to retain its Spanish character, while welcoming tourism in its midst. At the end of our street on the square or in the main street, you will find countless bars and restaurants for you to enjoy the pleasures of local and international  drinks and cuisine. You will notice that many locals don't speak English, yet they are always willing to help you or have a friendly chat. The amicable vibe of the town is tangible and will hopefully make you feel deeply welcome. And... let the view over town surprise you, we believe it is really beautiful!

Then you can indulge yourself! Andalusia has nearly 120 golf courses in the province Malaga, many are definitely worth a visit.


Alhaurín Golf, Lauro Golf, Mijas Golf at a 10 minutes drive or even the beautiful courses in Marbella are all within 30 minutes reach.

Mountainbiking

The area is a feast for those who love to mountain bike. With the huge mountains and beautiful forests close to the village, you can choose different paths for cycling. It goes without saying that a certain level of fitness to climb the mountains comes in handy...


At Suites del Mundo you can rent mountain bikes directly. Feel free to inquire about the possibilities.

Motor LOVERS

Can you imagine riding your bike in Andalusia? With the varying mountain ranges and the exquisite nature, it is a true pleasure to reside here if you're a bike lover. There's a reason why they say that Spain is a motorcyclist's paradise.


From Alhaurin el Grande it's fairly easy to explore the inlands or pay a cultural visit to the alluring cities such as Granada, Malaga, Ronda and Seville.

SUN, SEA & BEACH

Beach lovers will find several beautiful beaches within a 30-minute drive from the Suites.


The beach of Los Alamos is known for its spacious boulevard with various delightful beach clubs. Chiringuitos, the boulevard in La Carihuela, will nourish shop lovers with its countless shops and bars. We also recommend the beaches around Marbella with the well-known harbour of Puerto Banus or Fuengirola.


You may also wish to visit Malaga and the two charming fishing villages El Palo and Pedregalego. Here you will find a few one-of-a-kind, trendy restaurants as well as the typical Spanish fishing boats with the "espetos", the sardines on the skewer.

The Spanish cuisine is rather surprising and you may find joy in exploring the town to taste its gems. Alhaurin el Grande has a wide variety of restaurants. Within walking distance of the Suites you will find several authentic Spanish restaurants, but also unexpectedly culinary restaurants and tapas bars. Yes, international cuisine is also widely represented.
